This isn't an answer but a similar question. Had to get a new hard drive, ITunes installed at shop, but having problems with internet connection. Backed up ITunes folder copied into ITunes folder. All music shows on ITunes. Problem-Loaded 4 cds into iTunes, but they don't show up in library and they don't sync. Went back loaded just one, it shows up but with no music names just Track 1, 2, etc. Won't sync. Is it because I am not yet connected to internet. Any help is appreciated.

As you don't have an internet connection you will need to manually edit your tracks with the songs name and the CD's info. iTunes uses the Grace database to ID the CD & the tracks and fill in the info and also uses its own database of cover art. - Sync is between your iPhone or iPad and your computer so the music is then available on it. This can be via a USB connection or via your WiFi network. If you have a laptop it too can be sync'ed via a wired or WiFi network to your desktop system.
