I replaced my broken iPhone 5 screen with an iFixit screen is September 2013. All was well until yesterday when my screen became dim. I can't see the swipe interface. I can call my phone and hear Siri, but the screen dark grey. I took it apart thinking an connector was loose, but none were. I have not dropped it or has the phone experienced any water damage. Any hints what to check for? Thanks.

If you contact the ifixit customer services they will be fit to sort you out..
If connectors is fully seeded then it's probably a screen issue
