Dried out iPhone Won't stay powered up long enough to pull pictures
President of the company got his iPhone 4s wet and now wants me to grab the pictures off of it. We have given him a new phone so there is no cell service on the old phone. The old phone has been dried out and powers up fine when you connect it to a wall charger. I can see the pictures but I have no way to transfer them via MMS, bluetooth or WiFI as non of those services are functioning. If i connect the phone to a MAC or PC via USB there isn't enough power to start-up the device. I've sent it out to DriveSavers to see if they could pull anything off but they ran into the same problem.
Any suggestions on other ways to try to get these pictures off of the phone? The user has of course never backed anything up or ever synched with another device.
I have pulled the unit apart and removed the battery and then when I connect it using USB I at least get an Apple logo before it goes into a restart loop.
Is this a good question?

Progress! The new battery definitely helped. I now get the iTunes and USB graphic and the when I connect to my PC, the device stays powered on. The device driver loads and so does iTunes. iTunes detects the device as in recovery mode. I choose to not to restore the iPhone and cancel iTunes. When I run iFunBox it does not detect the device. Am I screwed?

It's not detecting it because it's in recovery mode
There is another program called iPhone backup extracter I would download that and see does that detect the backup but I'm sure it won't because it's in recovery
First download tiny umbrella when u open up it will give you the option to exit recovery try that see if it works

No luck. tried tiny umbrella but I'm still stuck at the iTunes/USB graphic. Is it worth trying Backup Extractor?
