iPod won't turn on after screen and LCD digitizer replacement

This is my first go at replacing an ipod touch 4g. I carefully disassembled the ipod and then attached the new screen and LCD. No cables to the mother board are ripped and the LCD is snapped into place, so i'm kind of kind of confused why it is not turning on. I have even tried another screen. is there anything else i need to check?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Try making sure that the power flex cable is properly connected to the logic board.
