I need help on how to change the lcd screen it is broken and shows random colors I ordered the lcd and I need a step by step guide I cant find one anywhere if anyone can help me it will me much appreciated. thanks

I just want to switch out the LCD don't I just take apart the screen that what I'm looking for dont want to take apart the bottom half just the screen to get to the lcd

As you can see here : MacBook Core Duo Front Display Bezel Replacement it looks Like being possible to replace only the LCD. I do not recommend you to follow thèse steps as they are for 2006 Macbooks but I think that the method is close. Mabe Will you be the author of this guide :)
theirs only one video on youtube on how to remove the lcd but it is very bad quality so their are no other guides or videos on how to remove the lcd I don't understand I'm sure I'm not the only one doing this repair

It is very difficult to just replace the LCD. You could easily damage or contaminate the backlight and surely to bend the display bezel in the process. Just replace the top as an assembly
