iPhone turning off while doing something.

Hi,

i have an iphone 3gs. The problem is, that- it is turning off even it has 50% charge. Its happening when im doing something on it, like playing a game. I have replaced a battery two times. Nothing has changed. Do you maybe have any ideas what can it be? Maybe I need to replace something else, and it is not the battery fault?

Sorry for my english, it's not my first language.

Daniel, since you already replaced the battery, and I suppose it is the right APN number (remember that there was some issues with the 3GS batteries), then my next step would be the dock connector, inspect it for any broken, bend or corroded pins, replace it if necessary. If that does not resolve the issue, you may have trouble with the PMIC on the logic board. Hope this helps, good luck.

Thank you for your answer. I checked the battery APN and its 616-0435. So it seems to be right. However I took the very oryginal battery from another iphone 3gs. So now its working, I will see what will happen next.

Definitely sounds like a battery issue. I would replace the battery.
