How to repair a mini micro usb port connector

looked all through your guides didnt find any information trying to find how to remove my usb port connector thats in my phone to replace it with another one just trying to figure out how to do that please let me know i have a samsung galaxy s2 model SGH-T989

mike, you could either change the Charging Port Dock Connector Flex Cable or try to solder a new micro USB port on your flex cable. The flex cable would be available at places like this and the micro USB port can be bought right here. Use this teardown to help you with the task. Hope this helps, good luck
