i forgot my password to my Ipod Touch 1st generation and the answers it was giving me yesterday was to hold the on/off and home button at the same time and i can't even get to the home button without the password?

Melissa Greene, Hold down the sleep/wake button and the home button at the same time until your iPod turns off. Let go of the sleep/wake button, but continue to hold the home button. iTunes should pop up with a message telling you that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. Hope this helps, good luck.

my ipod touch 1st generation says ipod is disabled connect to iTunes but I haven't got iTunes on my window 7 computer please may you tell me how to get onto my ipod and start using it again . Many thanks Jordan the owner of the ipod touch

Find a friend who has itunes? Install itunes....it is vital to back up or do updates this way

try taking the back off there should be a reset button hold it down
