How do I reset my phone?

History

i can't call out or text. on text it comes up warning, failed. when i try to check my pre paid load balance it comes up try again. this happened before and shutting it off and turning it on worked. but now, that doesn't help.

Before doing a reset action, be sure that you have a backup of your data...

To do an Hard Reset :

- press and hold the On/Off Button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

It could take more than 10 seconds until the Apple appears, don't be alarmed.
