MacBook battery case swap

My MacBook (white C2D, previous one) battery failed, so I've ordered an aftermarket one called NuPower. It works normally, but its case does not fit perfectly.

What I want to do, is to put NuPower's internals into my old battery case. Last time I've tried to open my battery, I couldn't. I've unscrewed it, but something was still keeping metal and plastic parts together.

Any experience?

I would not recommend to try that kind of swap. They use glue to seal the battery pack and often, from one company to another, the internal case form factor is different and there's only one way to insert the batteries inside the pack. Since the batteries are all soldered together with metal brackets it wont fit inside the pack if the internal case form factor is different. I tried this with iBooks Apple batteries and third party batteries and was not able to do the swap.
