Tells me to install a programe
My compaq mini 110 won't turn on properly, it gets to before the log on page and says that i need to install a Windows programe then it turns off but i'm not sure which one and where to get it from, i really need this fixed as i have all of my college work on there! :( PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Vanessa, you could try and go into your BIOS and start from another operating system. That way you could recover your files. The other thing you can try is to repair your Windows version. Try to access the recovery partition of your Compaq mini 110, here's a step by step procedure :
Turn off your computer
Except for the mouse and keyboard, remove all other USB devices.
Turn on your computer and start hitting "F11" key repeatedly until you see a different screen.
Follow the onscreen instructions until the recovery is completed.
