Wifi (in grey) could not be turned on?

History

Tried rebooting & hard reset, but it didn't help.

Also, tried to turn on & off airplane mode.

Same result.

Even for bluetooth, when I tap on it, it kept processing but can't be turned on.

That's a baseband problem with the Mainboard and as far as I'm aware is either not fixable or not cost effectively fixable.

Definitely hardware. If it is in warranty and no other issues Apple will replace it. Don't forget to backup first.

I have got the same issue with my iPhone 4S since updating it to iOS 6.

No Wi-Fi & Bluetooth connectivity.

Will the problem get I have tried all the software solutions, resetting & restoring my iPhone.

Nothing seems to be helping.

Will replacing the Wi-Fi antennae help?

I bought my iPhone in Pakistan from a reseller & there's no warranty of any sorts.

So getting any assistance from Apple is out of the question.
