New to the 2.2/2.4 GHz models, this thermal sensor is located beneath the logic board near the left fan. It connects to the logic board and provides temperature information. The cable on the left thermal sensor is shorter than the cable on the middle thermal sensor and slightly longer than that of the right thermal sensor.
