Every phone battery will not stay on forever, even if it is a good or new battery. Connect the Micro USB charger to the phone then the USB type A to the the wall adapter then to the wall socket. When the battery charging icon is displayed, the phone is charging. When the phone is turned on, you can always see the battery power level.
The problem may not be from the Phone, it may be from the Charging Cord being used. Try to use the Charging Cord with another device. If it does not work you need to get new Charging Cord.
Plug your Galaxy in using a charger that you know works. If the Phone still does not charge, this is a sign of a faulty battery and the battery needs to be replaced.
The phone is not sending or receiving calls or you may not be able to communicate with the other person
If you've set your phone to use a specific phone provider, occasionally you may not have signal to the network if the selected phone provider is out of range. Contact Phone Provider for assistance.
If the above steps does not work, your speaker may be faulty and it should be replaced
If the above steps does not work, your microphone may be faulty and it should be replaced
The buttons may not respond or may be broken
If you restart your phone and that does not working, your touch controls may be faulty and you need to replaced your home button.
Try restarting your Galaxy, or resetting to factory settings.
The Camera on the phone may have marks on it or is not showing a picture.
The issue could probably be that the plastic cover over the camera that protects it may be cracked. Touch the plastic over the camera and if you do feel a crack then it may need to be replaced
If the above step does not work try doing a Factory Reset, if that does not work than Camera is faulty and needs to be replaced.
