SCREEN TOO DARK ¶
The visual display on the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 is not bright enough for easy viewing.
Auto brightness may be inappropriate for your viewing needs ¶
From the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the quick settings menu. Check if the auto brightness setting is activated. Depending on your environment, this feature may be turned on or off for better viewing.
Brightness slider may be too low ¶
From the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the quick settings menu. Increase the brightness slider by sliding it to the right. Make sure that the auto-brightness setting is off.
FAILS TO CHARGE/TURN ON ¶
Your Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 does not charge or fails to power up.
The correct charging cable is not being used ¶
Check that you are only using a micro-USB charging cable connected to an AC power adapter for wall outlet charging. This will ensure the strongest charging connection. Using a different cable or plugging into a computer or power bank may prove sub-optimal for charging.
Internal battery may be dead ¶
If your Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 fails to charge at all and the charging indicator light (on the power button) does not come one, it is likely that your internal battery needs to be replaced. The part you need is a Lenovo L14D3K31 3.7V 9600mAh lithium-ion battery.

TABLET OVERHEATING ¶
Tablet overheats during general use, charging or while not in use.
Too many actions at once ¶
You may be overworking your tablet. If you are using your tablet in a cool, dry environment and you are not charging your tablet while in use then your tablet should not be overheating. If it is overheating in these situations you may be doing too many things at once. Try closing some Internet tabs and closing apps not in use.
Tablet in hot environment ¶
Your tablet may be in an environment that is too hot. Electronics are meant to be used in cool, dry environments. If you are not doing too many things on your tablet at once and you are not charging your tablet while in use than you might need to use your tablet in a cooler location.
Using charger while in use ¶
You are using the charger while the tablet is in use. It is not recommended that you use your tablet while you are charging it. Aside from making it take longer for your tablet to charge, and possibly degrading your battery, your tablet may overheat if you use it while it is charging. Try letting your tablet charge while not in use.
