Phone is Not Responding and Has a Blank Screen
Sometimes when the power button is not held down long enough the phone doesn't receive the proper signal needed in order to power on. Locate the power button and hold it down for at least five seconds. Holding the power button for at least five seconds will ensure that the phone has adequate time to receive the signal.
If the phone will not turn on after holding the power button for at least five seconds, it is likely that the battery does not have enough of a charge. If the battery is not charged enough, the phone will not have enough power to start up. Plug your phone in to the charger so that the phone has a direct power source and hold the power button for five seconds.

The phone may need to be turned off and turned back on. Power the phone off by holding the power button down until the phone turns off. Wait at least ten seconds and then turn the phone back on by holding the power button down again for at least five seconds.
If the phone will not reboot, it is possible that there has been damage to the phone's screen and it needs to be replaced.
The Battery Will Not Power the Phone Properly.
If you phone will not charge, it is possible that the electrical source is bad. Move your charger to another power source and then try to charge the phone again.

The Screen Freezes and Will Not Respond to Commands When Starting Up.
Sometimes the phone just needs a fresh start. Hold the power button until the phone turns off. Wait at least ten seconds and then turn the phone back on.
If the phone is unresponsive, it might be a good idea to try removing the battery in order to power off. After replacing the battery, turn the phone back on by holding the power button for at least five seconds.
The Phone is Silent When Incoming Calls are Received.
If the phone will not ring, the ringer volume is probably turned all the way down or silenced. This happens sometimes by mistake.
To fix this, navigate to Settings>Sounds>Ringtone volume.
Once in the Ringtone volume setting you will be able to adjust the volume of your ringer.
