Revision to Toshiba Satellite A215 S4697 Troubleshooting

Nikhitha Byragani

Laptop’s do not have very good cooling systems. Dust build-up can make this problem worse and lead to overheating. This should be noticeable since the keyboard will be very hot while you are using your laptop. To help your laptop stay cool, keep the vents are not blocked and keep dust away from your laptop.

Laptop shutting down randomly may be caused by overheating due to dust build up. The solution to this would be to clean out your fan as the dust build up would have caused overheating , which would then caused the laptop to shut down.
