Check the volume keys located at the right top of the keyboard. If the keys are not responding due to keys feeling unsteady or sticky, please see the section labeled "Keystrokes not registering."

=== Distorted or Absent Audio===

Laptop either won’t start at all or when it starts is stuck on a blue screen or updating screen.

Did you just update your computer? There is a chance it is stuck reinstalling old drivers and other software resulting in a loop when starting. Press the F2 key until you get a boot menu and you can either start in safe mode or revert to a previous start up and avoid installing faulty updates.

=== Blue Screen Present with no Update===

First attempt to reach a boot menu and restart your computer. (see stuck installing updates). If this is unsuccessful then your motherboard aka CPU will need to be replaced. Follow the guide for replacing the motherboard.

=== USB, HDMI, Battery Charging Port, or SD Port Not Working ===

Devices that you plug into the laptop are either not being recognized or are not functioning correctly.

=== Devices Connections Seems to be “Loose”===

First you should check the connections on the port internally, take the shell off the laptop and be sure that there are no loose wires or poor connections on the port you are attempting to use.

=== The Port Does not Work at All===

First follow the suggestion above to check the connections on the port. If the connections are sound and the port still does not work it will need to be replaced. Follow this guide for replacing any port on the laptop
