Check if the charging cable is fully connected to the transformer (the big box in your charger) and the computer first. == Screen not powering on == ''Computer shows signs of being on, but the screen remains turned off.'' === Drivers not updated === If the computer drivers for the display are not updated, first find an HDMI cable and a secondary screen (i.e. another computer monitor or a TV), and plug the cable into the ports on each device.
