I love to perform/read teardowns, and taught myself my own approach to fixing devices. I would love to help repair cars, but I don't think my methods are street-legal/safe...Then again, I've seen duct-taped bumpers…
I’m a Windows/Android person through and through, but I also support Mac OS/iOS, since it offers some features the former doesn’t have. For example, pairing USB drives as RAID? Only Macs can pretty much do it, and Windows? Well, that’s out of the question. I would use something other than an iPod for music, but unfortunately Apple seems to have dominated that category well, with reliable devices that can still run despite being at least 14 years old, with a spindle drive instead of flash memory.
My first laptop I ever owned was an Acer Aspire AO722P netbook, running Windows 7 Home Premium. I loved that little thing, even though the CPU was garbage (1.0 on Windows Experience Index, for those who remember that), since it could do things that seemed impossible. It never gave me a BSOD, never froze up or crashed, and ran pretty damn hot. The fan was designed to take in air from underneath the keyboard, which was, of course blocked by the backplate of the keyboard. And thanks to the laws of thermodynamics, hot air rises, which meant that it was literally cooling itself using hot air. (It used an AMD C-60 with integrated Radeon HD 6290 GPU. The graphics were better than the entire machine itself.)
I’m also developing a little OS using batch scripting on Windows. I know, it’s not really a programming language, but hey, it’s the only one I know personally. When I started learning Arduino, I started forgetting it, and soon I realized I needed to re-memorize it before I forgot what ‘echo’ does. You can download v1 here. Answer to "My 2004 gas e-z-go cart .I step on the gas and all it does is idle."Have you checked the throttle linkage/throttle system? Since it’s idling even with the pedal down, surely something’s wrong. Just make sure to turn off the engine before you check. Good luck!

Answer to "Is there an camera flash connector?"Flash is not on a separate connector. There is no mention of the flash unit during the teardown, and the camera doesn’t have the flash enabled. I would love to provide more information, but unfortunately I can’t help with this kind of issue. Good luck!

Answer to "12 Volt power spike on USB"I think the surge blew the internal USB PMIC, which would explain why the USB system died. Unfortunately, to fix this you’d probably have to replace the motherboard, unless you’re fine running the USB devices from a hub. Good luck!

Answer to "z button needs a ridiculous amounts of force for it to input in-game"Worn graphite on the rubber pads? I’ve seen this happen before with another guy’s PS4 Controller. Try getting a replacement pad, or just rubbing pencil lead onto the 'Z’ button pad. Good luck!

Answer to "MacBook Air only turns on when plugged in (water damage possibly)"Shorted/damaged PMIC? It may be able to provide the system with juice to run, but not enough to charge the battery. If you want, you can try popping the bottom off, and taking a peek at the mobo/battery for any obviously damaged parts. Good luck!
