Answer to: SRS light is onMost of these solutions won't work. The only sure thing is to pull the bulb and ride on. Here's a link on how http://www.odyclub.com/forums/28-1995-1998-odyssey/64624-srs-light-out-after-4-years-internal-fault-srs-module.html Works on most Accords and Civics also.
Answer to: SRS light is onI had this problem too. Tried the battery thing, the MES plug light reset and basically nothing works, Most cheap scanners including the Snapon Solus-Pro won't read air bag .or abs codes. I bought the OTC model for $111 and found out the Air bag module was bad, Tried the junk yard route and learned that if it's not from the exact car model with the same equipment you wasted your money. I decided to pull the bulb. There are other posts on how to do this. If your in an area that requires safety inspection this won't work cause they look for the light to come on during the start up self test but if not and you don't mind not knowing if the air bags will deploy this is the only guaranteed way to get rid of that pesky light. By the way, about 6 months later I got t-boned and the side airbag deployed. Here is the link on how to change/delete the bulb http://www.odyclub.com/forums/28-1995-1998-odyssey/64624-srs-light-out-after-4-years-internal-fault-srs-module.html works on most Accords and Civics also.
