500W is far too little to host a full-fledged Xeon W and a Vega 56. I think Apple relies on thermal throttling and underclocking so performance doesn’t get “too high”. How will it ever support 18 FRICKIN’ CORES and a VEGA 64?!
Teardown suggestions: Google Home Mini, Google Home Max, and iMac Pro. Thank you so much! The Pro Tech Toolkit is AWESOME!
Any chance that you will tear one down with a GTX 1060 in it? I would love to see that.
I agree with Mr. Young. The 15 inch model houses the new Core i7 8650U, a quad-core processor, as well as a discrete graphics card, the GTX 1060. Any chance that you might be taking a look into that?
Can you please also tear down the Google Home Mini? It’s now on sale. Also, please murder an Amazon Echo Pro. Thanks!
This is because Intel Atom series processors are meant for budget, ultra-low power setups. In small netbooks where heat matters over performance, such as the Echo Show, cheap processors that cannot do absolutely anything else are ideal.

Please do a teardown of the new Surface Book. If you do, I'll give you a teddy bear. ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ If you don't everyone will be like ಠ_ಠ. P;ease do it. I will give you $5: [̲̅$̲̅(̲̅5̲̅)̲̅$̲̅]
Well it would be pretty boring. It's just a 16 GB storage chip on a fiberglass board with gold-plated contacts.
