I am an electrical engineering major at Eastern Washington University. I've been attending EWU for three years now I plan on graduating at the end of next year. I do play football for Eastern and enjoy every day of it.
The skills I bring to my ifixit team is I’m a very critical thinker and very comfortable with electronics and computers being an electrical engineering major. I also have a lot of DIY skills, I was raised always working on old and new cars, boats, and motorcycles with my dad growing up and have continued to keep up on that hobby. Just recently over these past two summers I refurbished a 1995 ski boat by myself. I also have basic carpentry, landscaping, construction and painting skills I’ve acquired through my dad and working various high school jobs I’ve had. I feel all these skills will contribute well to my team.
We have a chance to guarantee our right to repair electronic
equipment—like smartphones, computers, and even farm equipment. This is a once-in-a-generation
chance to protect local repair jobs—the corner mom-and-pop repair shops that
keep getting squeezed out by manufacturers.
Join the cause and tell your state representative to support Right to Repair. Tell them you believe repair should be fair, affordable, and accessible. Stand up for your right to repair!
