Answer to: Why Won't My Touchscreen Work?There are three possible problems that are associated with an unresponsive touchscreen. They are listed from easiest to hardest to complete. Dirty Screen: (1) If your device has a screen protector, remove it (2) Spray a bit of water or formulated spray onto a microfiber cloth. (3) Wipe thoroughly. (4) Using another dry microfiber cloth, immediately dry the surface. (5) Replace the screen protector with a new one if desired. Resetting the Device Without Using the Screen: (1) With the GPS unit off, press the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Turn the unit on while maintaining pressure in the bottom right corner. When you see a prompt asking, "Do you really want to erase all user data?", you can release your finger and select yes. (2) If the bottom right of the screen is unresponsive then please refer to the broken screen guide. Broken Screen: (1) If your device screen is still unresponsive after following the following guides above please refer to this guide for replacing a broken screen
Answer to: Why will my nuvi 2455LMT not detect a GPS signal?(1) The most common cause of signal failure is the environment around the GPS (2) Make sure you are not in a parking garage, surrounded by trees or overhangs and at a standstill when the Garmin GPS is turned on. (3) The longest amount of time it takes the GPS to acquire a signal is 5 minutes. These instances occur when you travel more than 500 miles with the GPS turned off or if you are indoors.
