Answer to: Why am I unable to change the mode of input? Before we have you start taking apart you device you should verify that the button residue is definitely the issue. If there are no other audio input modes active, then the FM radio will be the only available option. You should try plugging in a few of the other audio inputs then try changing the mode. If any of the modes are able to be cycled then the button residue probably isn't your issue. If you tried other audio inputs at the same time and you are still unable to cycle to different modes, please see our Troubleshooting Page for information on how to replace or clean your buttons.
Answer to: Why is my music not playing from the auxiliary port?Usually music not playing through the auxiliary port can be fixed by replacing the AUX cord. AUX cords are notorious for breaking and being unreliable, so the first thing you do should be to try using another auxiliary cord you may have around the house to see if that fixes the issue. You should also verify that you are in the correct mode to play music through an auxiliary input. Since you mentioned that there is a small crack in the AUX port itself, the port may need to be replaced to properly play music again. For AUX port replacement and mode verification please see the respective help sections of the Troubleshooting Page.
Answer to: Why does my speaker lose battery so fast?If you are unsure if your battery was fully charged you can plug it in. If the battery does not have a full charge a red LED light will appear. Once this light turns off the battery is at maximum capacity. If you are sure that your battery was at full charge when you began using it and the battery life was not satisfactory, then you may want to consider replacing your battery to extend the devices longevity. To learn how to replace your battery please see the the troubleshooting guide here: Troubleshooting Page
