A good first step would be to remove the charging cable from the device, and then plug it back in. It is possible that your cable is simply not properly seated within the charging port, and disconnecting and reconnecting it should solve this problem. If this doesn't work, you'll want to plug the wall end of the charger into a different outlet in order to rule out the possibility of a dead outlet. If this also does not work, it is possible that the charging block is faulty. Try plugging the cable only (without the charging block) into a computer's USB port, and see if your device charges this way. Ensure the computer is turned on when you do this. If this successfully fixes your problem, then your charging block is defective and will need to be replaced.
