Answer to: Sander is running hot when in useA common mistake people make is applying too much pressure with the sander when using it. Simply ease up on the pressure you are applying when using the sander. If it continues to run hot this may indicate a bigger problem with the sander.
Answer to: When do I need to replace the sanding pad?An easy way to tell if the sanding pad needs replacing is to see if the sanding pad feels smooth. If it does, the sanding pad has lost it's grit and needs replacing.
