Another reason could be that one of the solder connections came loose or undone. You should check on that before purchasing a new speaker when there is only a little tin-solder needed. Answer to: Why is my DPM not charging?There should be a USB charging cable included in delivery. To verify the source of your problem you should first plug in that cable. If your device is still not charging the problem is most likely caused by a bad battery which can easily be replaced. You might also want to have a look at the Troubleshooting Page. In order to get a new battery you simply need to contact the support of Philips.
Answer to: Why is the screen on my DPM frozen?As you already figured out there is not much of an uncertainty that the source of your problem is the display. First of all you should check the plug connection between display and logic board. If the connection just came loose or undone you simply need to plug it back in.
