Answer to: My headphones don't work when I plug it into the jack?Assuming your headphones do in fact work, it might be that the device isn't recognizing them or just overrides them. If this is the case then you can manually connect and set your headphones as default through these steps.. For Windows 8 and 10 move your mouse to the top right of your screen and then straight down to bring up the charms sidebar. a. Click settings b. Click Control Panel. c. Go to Hardware and Sound. d. Click on Sound. e. Right click your headphones in the pop-up window f. Click connect Hopefully this will set your headphones as the primary playback device. If this fails see the troubleshooting page mentioned above.
Answer to: Is there any way I can force my device to shut off?For the Rove (and in general with most computers) this can be accomplished by pressing and holding the power button on the top right of the device. Hold for about ten seconds or until the small LED on the button goes out.
Answer to: Why is my computer running so slowly?As mentioned in the troubleshooting page of this device here, it’s possible that your computer just needs a good cleaning. Excessive dust buildup in any machine can lower efficiency. I'd start there. Applications running in the background of your computer can also put major strain on the processor. Try trimming down on useless applications by uninstalling programs you no longer use or disabling some startup applications in your task manager. The task manager can be accessed by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete. To disable programs go to the startup tab at the top of the pop-up window.
