Answer to: How to disassemble an Asus x555 k555 f555 without losing warranty?I just ordered this laptop and unfortunately it is not easy to access the internal parts. It appears to me that you need to take the 9 screws out of the bottom of the case and then carefullly pry up the keyboard on the top, starting at the corners. The keyboard is held in place with plastic clips that should pop open. Once the keyboard is loose there are three cables that need to be detached under the keyboard. Be careful not to yank on the keyboard when you are lifting it so you don't break the cables from their latches. Once the keyboard is off - you should be able to access the memory and Hard Drive, battery, etc. I plan on replacing the Hard Drive with a Solid State Drive. This laptop is poorly designed and I'm almost tempted to send it back once I receive it. The idiots at Asus who engineered a laptop so you cannot easily get access to the Hard Drive or Battery should be fired.
