Anyways have you attempted all the restore and reset procedures. What version of iOS are you on? Lastly I've always found to be able to correct even the most ridiculous iOS Software issues with reinstalled iOS Firmware. Otherwise its probably sure that you have a logic board fault of some sort specially with the Battery charging issues. I know Apple was short term replacing battery faults on certain iPhone 5 models.
