  • Answer to: Compact Flash connector pin broke. Can it be fixed? 04/14/2015
I couldn't find a guide but it can be replaced. Search Canon EOS 350D card slot replacement. I found one for $21.99. I will post a guide once I get the parts as I have one to repair as well.

You probably used a low quality replacement part. Try returning it and buying from iFixit or phonepartsusa.com

Actually right now they are $30 for Grade A.

  • iPhone 5s Lightning Connector Replacement 04/24/2015

Can't you replace just the lightning port itself by soldering on a new one?

It's time to speak out for your right to repair

We have a chance to guarantee our right to repair electronic equipment—like smartphones, computers, and even farm equipment. This is a once-in-a-generation chance to protect local repair jobs—the corner mom-and-pop repair shops that keep getting squeezed out by manufacturers.

Join the cause and tell your state representative to support Right to Repair. Tell them you believe repair should be fair, affordable, and accessible. Stand up for your right to repair!
