Answer to: Eclipse 180G2-W MP3 player won't start?Check to make sure battery is charged, in other words place the device on charge and attempt to turn it on. If it still will not turn on either the motherboard or the lcd display module has failed. This device currently does not have a large replacement part selection, so for these issues it is advised that you consider purchasing a new MP3 player.
Answer to: How to put videos to eclipse 180g2 4b mp3 player? This is simply because the Eclipse MP3 player does not read .AVI formatted videos. The videos must be in .AMV format. A good way to convert your .AVI videos into .AMV is to use FreeAMVConverter located at the following link. http://www.amvvideoconverter.net/. You can use this to convert your videos to .AMV format and then they should work. Hope this helped.
Answer to: Why is there no sound output when I play a song?MP3 players can only play music that are in mp3 file format. If you copy music files to your MP3 player that are not in this format then the MP3 player cannot play these music files. I called Mach Speed technical support at (580) 272-0035 and they told me that model CLD2PL cannot handle music being in folders. So I removed the folders from the mp3 player and copied over the music again (as single files) and now it works. Hope this helps.
