Like many fixers, I am a student at Cal Poly (BS Industrial Engineering '18). I moved to California in pursuit of warm weather (and a college degree) from my hometown in Portland, Oregon. My official job title is "Inventory Associate," but I like to go by the more relevant title of "Kitting Ninja." I work in the iFixit warehouse, more commonly known as the "Cardboard Dojo." Despite my extensive training in martial arts and throwing-star-throwing, I am actually a very nice and approachable person. My friends like to describe my personality as a golden retriever puppy.
Outside of school and work, I like to spend time outdoors. Lately, I have been doing a lot of hiking and rock climbing. Here are a few pictures of me in Joshua Tree National Park.
I also enjoy all types of water sports and activities. It's just better than being on land. Pictures: Wakeboarding on Flathead Lake in Montana, Paddleboarding in San Sebastian, Spain, and "Jet Boarding" in Cancun, Mexico.
This Summer I went on a two week European backpacking trip through eight countries. It was an amazing experience, and I am already planning next year's trip to visit eight more. Highlights of the trip included seeing the 'Running of the Bulls'' in Pamplona, riding the elevator to the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and seeing the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland.
