I recently got the CL6 error message and thought my IP was dead. We live and work outside the US, so trying to return under warranty or get a replacement wasn’t an option. Also important to note is that when bringing the IP in luggage, the airline handlers dropped the suitcase and smashed the plastic bottom. Despite the cosmetic damage, the IP worked for a couple of months with no problems. All I did was take all internal components apart, disconnecting all wires and removed the mechanical pressure switch. I noticed some buildup on the contact leads on both mechanical switches, so I gently sanded the contact points, reassembled, and it is back to working with no issues. I didn’t see any visible issues with solder points on the motherboard or on any of the electrical wiring at connection points.
