Can I replace just the glass that has small crack?iPad 5 is working fine but has small crack in glass from being dropped. Can I change only the glass?
Answer to "MacBook Pro 2011 - Replacement battery still won't charge!"I’m getting convinced that it’s the iFixit battery. After replacing the MagSafe port connector (twice!), putting in a new battery from iFixit, and then giving up the ghost, I left the 2011 MacBook Pro sitting on my desk for over a year. The battery drained completely, and for the !&&* of it, I plugged the charger in. It started charging when, before, no lights showed up on the charger or on the side of the MacBook after pressing the little round button. I was able to get stuff off the hard drive, but shortly thereafter noticed that if I removed the plug (even when battery showed 99% charged) the system shut down. I read some posts about iFixit battery problems with this system, so removed that battery and put the old one (not original Apple, but another replacement one, back in. It is now charging and lights are showing green flashing on side of MacBook when little button is pushed. We’ll see what happens. Answer to "MacBook Pro still won't charge after replacing everything."Having same problem, though I did not replace logic board. I did replace MagSafe port, and it worked fine for a while, then it stopped charging again. Replaced the MagSafe port again, to no avail. New battery, everything boots and runs fine, only power shows no ac connection when plugged in. So, should I try replacing the logic board…or give up? Concerned about sending good $ after bad.
