Answer to "Why does the camera flash green but not urn on?"Hi, Aaron. First try to connect your camera to a PC and see if it is recognized by the PC; and if the camera shows any reaction. Based on your description, it appears not to be a power or battery issue. However, Samsung has identified multiple software glitches since release that, depending on how they manifest, may render the camera inoperable. If the camera makes a connection with your PC, please visit Samsung's support page and update it with the latest software; this often restores the device. However, it the PC is does not connect with the camera, I would suggest to either contact Samsung support or, potentially, replace the damaged(?) motherboard on your device. Hope everything goes well.
Answer to "Why does my camera show Error 01?"Hi, Ellie. On most Samsung cameras, the NX300 included, this means that there's a connection problem between the camera and the battery; usually the result of dirt in battery chamber or on the battery's contacts that prevent the camera from receiving the proper voltage needed to fully operate. Start by powering the camera off and removing the battery. Next, make sure that the contacts on both the battery and the camera are clean and in good state. You may use a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol to clean the inside of the battery chamber. Once everything is good to go, carefully replace the battery and power the camera back on. Should there be damage on any parts of the battery, consider acquiring a new one. You can find additional support on some common battery problems on the NX300's troubleshooting page. Hope everything goes well!
