Sometimes a restart is enough if the software is “stuck.” Press and hold the power button for 10–15 seconds, even if nothing happens at first. Then release the button, wait a few seconds, and try turning the robot on again.

Battery Is Empty
It sounds obvious, but this is often the reason. Place the robot on the charging dock and wait a few minutes. Many models use an LED to show that they are charging. If nothing happens after 10–15 minutes, check the other points below. See also: Robot Vacuum Won’t Charge
3
Power Button Does Not Respond
Press the button firmly several times to test whether it responds. Dust can collect underneath it. If the button is stuck or does not spring back, carefully open the housing and check the mechanism. The button may need to be cleaned or replaced.
4
Charging Contacts Are Dirty
Dirt or oxidation on the contacts can prevent charging. Clean the metal contacts on the robot and the dock with a lint-free cloth and a little isopropyl alcohol. Let everything dry thoroughly before placing the robot back on the dock.
5
Battery Is Defective
If the battery remains cold after hours on the dock, it is probably defective. Most batteries last about 2–3 years. Replacing the battery is usually straightforward; follow your manufacturer’s guide.
6
Electronics Problem / Main Board or Power Supply
If none of these steps help, the internal power supply may be affected. In this case, contact the manufacturer or a professional repair service. These repairs require specialist knowledge and tools.
