It sounds obvious, but this is the most common reason. Fill the tank up to the mark with clean, lukewarm water. Ideally, use distilled or demineralized water to prevent limescale buildup.
2
Water Tank Is Not Installed Correctly
The tank needs to click into place precisely for water to flow. Remove it, reinstall it, and make sure you hear a clear click.
3
Water Flow Is Set Too Low
Many models let you adjust the water flow in the app. Increase the water output to “medium” or “high” if it was accidentally set to “minimum.”
4
Water Tank Seal Is Defective
A damaged seal can cause leaks or prevent water from flowing. Check the rubber seal. It should be elastic and clean. If it is cracked or deformed, it needs to be replaced.
5
Water Nozzles Are Clogged
Limescale and dirt can clog the nozzles over time. Carefully clean them with a needle or toothpick and rinse the tank with warm water. For heavy buildup, a vinegar soak can help, but only if your manual allows it.
6
Mop Pad Is Dirty or Installed Incorrectly
An old or dirty pad may no longer absorb water properly. Wash the mop pad at 60 °C without fabric softener or replace it with a new one. Make sure it lies flat without wrinkles.
7
Mop Plate Is Dirty
The holder plate can also develop buildup. Clean it thoroughly with warm water and dry it completely before reinstalling it.
8
Vibration or Rotation System Is Defective
If the mop plate no longer moves, the small motor may be blocked. This can require a more involved repair, or the mop plate may need to be replaced.
9
Robot Leaks Too Much Water
Check whether the seal is seated correctly and the tank is not overfilled. Reduce the water flow in the app. If dripping continues, the internal pump may be defective, which can only be fixed with a more involved repair.
10
Wrong Cleaning Solution
Only use cleaning solution recommended by the manufacturer or clean water. Regular household cleaners can foam, clog hoses, or damage pumps. If you accidentally used cleaner, rinse the tank thoroughly.
11
Temperature Is Too Low
Below 10 °C, water in the system can freeze or become too viscous. Let the robot warm up to room temperature before starting it.
