Causes
- Clean the charger of dust and debris.
- Check for any visible damage.
- Ensure it is the correct charger (USB-C).
- Try unplugging and plugging it back in.
- If possible try different chargers and power outlets.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, the charger may be broken and will need to be replaced.
- Make sure the battery is properly attached. This is located on the bottom of the laptop next to the hinge mechanism. Position the laptop so the battery is located at the top.
- You will see two switches on either side of the battery. Ensure that the left switch is positioned to the left. Switch and hold the switch on the right while sliding the battery away from the device.
- Reinsert the battery by sliding it back into its original position until you hear a clicking noise.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, the battery may be faulty and will need to be replaced. Replacement parts can be found on various online sites such as Amazon.
