Causes
The system may be frozen, or the touchscreen drivers may have failed to load properly.
- Hold the power button for 10 seconds to force a reboot.
- After restarting, test the touchscreen in Guest Mode to rule out account-specific issues.
- Perform a Powerwash to reset the device if the problem continues.
Screen protectors or tight-fitting cases can sometimes interfere with touch sensitivity.
- Remove any screen protectors or cases and test the touchscreen again.
- Try using a different screen protector if the touchscreen works when it has been removed.
- Clean the screen with a microfiber cloth to remove residue.
