Causes
Something else that could possibly cause that delay are the drivers needing to be updated, specifically for the touchscreen function.
- This can be checked by navigating to the Device Manager application.
- In the start menu type "Device Manager" and select it from the results below.
# Click on the black arrow to the left of “Human Interface Devices” to bring down more options.
- Then right click on the “HID-compliant touch screen”
- You should have an option for you to check for any updates. If there are any, download those and this will help resolve the issue.
If not automatically done once downloading if finished, go ahead and restart the Lenovo Flex 3-1580.
- In order to update that software go down to the bottom of your screen in the search bar (start menu) and type in “updates”. What should pop up first is “Check Updates” .
- You will click on that to see if you have anything that needs to be updated. Even if it says “no updates” there should be another “check updates” in that tab you can click on to double check.
- If there is an update needed you will click download.
- In order to calibrate your touch screen system you will need to open your setting bar which will be at the bottom left of your computer screen.
- Click on system and select “tablet PC settings.”
- Click on calibrate and you should see instructions you need to follow.
- This will instruct you to touch the designated points with your finger.
