Plug in computer to the power cable and leave for about 30 minutes. This will help ensure there's a full charge before proceeding.

It can help to ensure there is no damage to the screen, inspecting it from different angles or lifting it up to hold it. If there is any signs of physical damage this may need to be replaced and the cause of the issue.

There could be debris or dust blocking the vent located on the bottom of the computer, you'll need to inspect the vent

1. These vents can be located on the back of the computer by flipping it over.
2. If you notice anything blocked use compressed air to clean the clogged vents.

More than one application running at a time puts too much strain on the computers processing.

Old drivers could be the cause of these sort of issues and very helpful to check. There are multiple ways to update drivers, the first is:

1. Go to the search bar at the bottom of your screen and search "Lenovo Vantage".
2. Click on the "Device" section, then click on "System Update", then "Check for Updates".
3. You will see if any updates are available and click "Download or Install".

1. Go to the Lenovo Support Website
2. Go to the search bar in the website and look up "Lenovo Flex 3 1580"
3. Look for "Drivers and Software"
4. Click Download or Install
