Is your Jabra Evolve2 65 not powering on and is unresponsive when sliding the switch to the on position? Use this troubleshooting guide to help diagnose why.

Causes

1

The first fix you should try is making sure that the headphones are able to turn on

  • On the right earcup slide the power button into the on position
  • A green light should flash indicating that the headphones have been turned on

If the headphones do not turn on the battery may be dead

2

If the headphones do not turn on the battery may be dead and must be charged

  • Plug the USB charging cord into the right earcup and your computer USB port.
  • Ensure that the headphones are holding a charge by checking for an LED indicator on the right earcup

LED status light meaning

  • A solid green LED indicates the battery is full.
  • A solid yellow LED indicates the battery is medium.
  • A solid red LED indicates the battery is low.
  • A flashing red LED indicates the battery is critically low.

If the charger is functional but the LED status light is not showing there is likely a problem with the headphone ports or battery.

3

If the charging port on the headphones does not seem to work you should check for debris that is preventing the headphones from charging

  • Visually inspect the charging port for any visible debris
  • If debris is visible use compressed air to blow out the debris
4

If the charging cable falls out or the charging cable does not properly fit into the headphone charging port, the charging port is likely damaged

  • Check the port for any bent edges that may be preventing the charger from making a secure connection
  • If headphones only charge when the charger is in a specific position, replace the port
5

If the headphones battery has noticeably been decreasing the battery may no longer be able to hold a charge and must be replaced

  • Replace the battery
