Hard reset your Chromebook basically flushes its RAM and brings it back to the starting point to start all processes again.
- Locate the Refresh key and the power button on your Chromebook.
- Press them together.
- This should hard reset your Chromebook.
- Try turning it on.

If you have external devices such as a mouse, keyboard, or webcam connected to your Chromebook, they could be the cause of it not turning on.
- Locate the refresh key and power button on your Chromebook.
- This is because peripherals come with firmware, particularly gaming peripherals which have their designated software, that can interfere with the boot up process.
- Remove all external devices connected and try turning it on again.
If it works, you'll have to work without peripherals.
