Dell Latitude 5320 2-in-1 Battery Is Draining Fast

Having an abundant amount of apps or background processes can use a lot of power. Close all unnecessary apps and browser tabs.

A bright screen display drains battery life more quickly. Lowering screen brightness will prolong battery life. You can adjust the brightness in settings for Windows 10 and 11. For Windows 11, use the search bar to locate the settings app. Click on “Systems”, in “Display settings", click on “Brightness”, then set the “Help improve the battery by optimizing the content shown and brightness” drop-down options as needed. For Windows 10, use the search bar to locate the settings app. Click on “Systems” and, in the display screen section, ensure that the “Change brightness automatically when lighting changes” box is unselected. This allows you to manually adjust the brightness by using the line display underneath to slide for more or less brightness.
