Introduction
Teardown of the Varo Digital Multimeter
What you need
-
-
First i removed the 2 bottom screws
-
Then i opened the bottom cover
-
Now we are going to see the inside of this multimeter
-
-
-
-
At the bottom we have an 9v battery (i made an tutorial on how to replace it) Link: Varo Digital Multimeter
-
On the left of the 9v battery we have the connectors for the test probes wich is important because otherwise the multimeter cannot measure voltage, amps, etc.
-
Above the probe connectors we have the 2 fuses both fuses are 0.5A/250V (i do not have a guide to replace these yet)
-
And above the 2 fuses we have the brains of this multimeter unfortunately i do not know what chip it is.
-
Last but not least we have the multi digit display.
