The metal top cover is secured to the knob with adhesive. To remove it:

Pry around the edge of the metal top cover in a circular motion to remove it and expose the screws underneath.

Remove the screws securing the cap.

Remove the screws securing the metal washer.

The plastic detail in the rear of the device is secured with adhesive. To remove it:

Use a spudger or a flat-head screwdriver to remove it.

Remove all screws from the plastic panel.

Grab the internals and slide it out.

Remove the screws securing the potentiometer board, then move the potentiometer board aside.

Locate the small touch board.

Use a spudger or screwdriver to slide the touch board upwards and out if its notch. Them put the touch board aside.

To remove the ribbon cable connecting the screen:

Use a spudger to gently push on alternating sides of the plastic tab until it clicks up into its unlocked position.

Once the tab is unlocked, you can gently pull the cable straight out of its socket.

To remove the main board:

Remove all the screws from the main board.

Slide the board toward yourself and bring it upward, then out. Then flip it forward to not rip the cable underneath.

Remove the screws to the daughter board, then remove the daughter board.

If the spring inside the chassis is broken, you can cut it off and glue in a new one.
