This teardown is not a repair guide. To repair your Ryobi heat gun EHG2000, use our service manual.

    • Remove black plastic nose cowling by twisting anti-clockwise

  2. Ryobi heat gun Teardown, Remove screws and clip: step 2, image 1 of 2 Ryobi heat gun Teardown, Remove screws and clip: step 2, image 2 of 2
    • Remove Philips head screws - 7 places

    • Remove wire clip

  3. Ryobi heat gun Teardown, Split adhesive label: step 3, image 1 of 1
    • With a sharp blade cut the adhesive label inline with the split line of where the outer housings meet.

  4. Ryobi heat gun Teardown, Opening up: step 4, image 1 of 1
    • Remove top half housings leaving subassemblies and parts on lower housing

  5. Ryobi heat gun Teardown, Identifying parts: step 5, image 1 of 1
    • Internal parts

    • Motor

    • Heater element - stainless steel

    • PCB (Printed circuit board)

    • LED and Lens - Acrylic injection moulding

    • Switch assembly - ABS injection moulding

    • Housing - PC-ABC Injection moulding
