What you need

This teardown is not a repair guide. To repair your Ooma Telo Rev A00, use our service manual.

    • The Ooma Telo's case is held together using small plastic clips around the top edge of the device.

    • Use a tool to slip between the seam and release the clips holding the top case on.

  3. Ooma Telo Rev A00 Teardown, Continue releasing clips: step 3, image 1 of 1
    • There are several clips fastening the top case on. Work your way around. Take your time. Once 3 sides are free, you can wiggle the top clips loose and remove the top case.

    • Remove the lid. Inside there are three more clips holding the PCB in place.

  5. Ooma Telo Rev A00 Teardown, PCB is free: step 5, image 1 of 1
    • The mainboard is now free besides a small connection to the speaker.

Very, very helpful description with great photos. Does this telo support bluetooth out of the box or is that an add-on adapter?

Rev A00 does not include bluetooth and requires the add-on USB adapter.
